Marulu Strategy - Making FASD History!

Families and Communities

Shadow of family holding hands

Diagnosing and supporting a child with FASD is a shared process between families, communities and support agencies. As a community we can support each other to achieve better health, learning and social outcomes for our kids!

If you are concerned your child or a child in your community may have physical, learning or behavioural issues related to FASD, contact the Marulu Unit to assist you with connecting with support agencies.

PATCHES and WACHS Clinics can provide diagnosis through a multidisciplinary team and facilitate ongoing support.

Visit Nindilingarri or the Fitzroy Crossing Hospital to see a doctor or health professional.

Families can also visit the Getting Support section of this website for further information.

Here you will find information about Our Team, the FASD Diagnosis Process and information about the range of Programs and Events we offer to support families in the Fitzroy Valley.

Families working together -  it takes a community to raise a child.
